About the Role:
Azura Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate, board-certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our team on a part-time basis. In this rewarding role, you will provide comfort, connection, and peace to patients and families through the healing power of music during end-of-life care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized music therapy sessions for hospice patients and their families
- Use music to support emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being
- Collaborate with a compassionate, interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure holistic care
- Document sessions and contribute to patient care planning
Qualifications:
- MT-BC (Music Therapist – Board Certified)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy
- 1–2 years of clinical experience (hospice experience strongly preferred)
- Empathy, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes or facilities (if applicable)
